Appraisal Systems HMS' Organizational Development Division Performance Management is critical to the success of an effectively run organization. At the core of this is the system built to support the Annual Appraisal process. As an OD initiative, HMS will conduct an assessment of your current appraisal system to determine your specific needs and objectives prior to updating or rebuilding your appraisal process. Once this has been accomplished, we partner with your leadership team to determine a best-fit system for your organization. To ensure the success of adopting a new Performance Appraisal, HMS provides additional training support to establish best practices with Supervisors and Managers at all levels of the organization. The overall performance of an organization reflects the individual performance of its staff. If effectively administered, the Performance Appraisal not only accomplishes its basic purpose of reviewing employee performance, but also serves as an important resource to establish communication and provide for feedback throughout the year. In contrast, a poorly handled review may have a negative affect on performance and a destructive affect on the working relationship.
